About

About Homerise.

Homerise shows Australian homeowners an estimated solar and battery price with federal rebates applied, then introduces them to one vetted installer at a time, only if they ask.

Who reviews our guides

Joern Haake

Joern Haake has worked in renewable energy since 2013. He builds software that helps Australian solar companies stay organised and run smoothly, and with his team has worked with more than 70 of them, so he knows how solar quotes are put together and what a fair one looks like. He started Homerise in 2026 to help homeowners choose the right solar and battery for their home, with the real price and every rebate in front of them before anyone calls.

He reads every guide and rebate page before it goes live, and again whenever the rules change, checking each rebate figure against the government sources the guide links to. Joern lives in Aura, on the Sunshine Coast. You can find him on LinkedIn.

The team behind Homerise has more than 20 years' combined experience in Australian solar, based in Brisbane, Queensland.

What we do

  • Show you an estimated solar and battery price for your home, with the federal rebates applied and your state programs identified.
  • Introduce you to one vetted installer at a time, by name and only with your consent. You can ask for another, up to 3.
  • Keep our rebate pages and guides current from one versioned rules table, the same one that prices our estimates.

How we're paid

Homerise is free for you. Installers pay us for introducing you, the same for every installer. See how we're paid and how we write our guides.
